The safety of transportation and storage of vaccines is more difficult to achieve in Kherson: out of 468 refrigerators in which the vaccine is stored, only 10 are certified by the WHO in 2016, all other refrigerators are household. To solve the problem, the necessary refrigeration equipment was purchased for the Kherson Children's Regional Hospital-the "Cold Chain" project .

On Dec. 4th,a working visit of national experts on immunoprophylaxis took place at the Kherson Regional Children's Clinical Hospital and a presentation of equipment within the framework of the Cold Chain project was made. Many relevant leaders and authorities attended the event, for example,the director of the National Health Service of Ukraine,director of the Southern Interregional Department of the National Health Service of Ukraine,chairman of the National Technical Group of Immunization Experts,etc. Meling vaccine refrigerator YC-395L and YC-75L have excellent performance among the equipments .

It was organized with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and  the assistance of the Kherson Oblast State Administration.This is another international life and health protection work that Meiling has participated in.
